C. Selsor wins Stockton Tournament (5/5/12)
Chris Selsor caught a 4 fish limit weighing 9.09, with a 3.70lb kicker, to take 1st place on Stockton. Taking second with a limit of 8.56lbs was Fred Bailey. 3rd place went to Gaylen Davis with a limit of 7.60lbs. A total of 42 Bass weighing 78.66lbs were caught by 13 angler,s with 6 anglers catching their limits. Fish were caught in various methods including on Topwater, Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, Jigs and Shaky heads.
Anderson wins another one
Steve Anderson caught a 4 fish limit weighing 9.65lbs to edge Gaylen Davis, who had a limit weighing 9.23lbs. Taking third was Andy Price with 2 fish weighing 6.70lbs, with a 4.76 kicker. A total of 14 Bass weighing 28.24lbs were caught.
Anderson’s Alabama Rig takes First (Feb. 18, 2012)
After being delayed one week by inclement weather and the bite being off for most of the anglers, Steve Anderson caught 3 fish weighing 14.40lbs, to take 1st place on Table Rock out of Long Creek. All 3 of his keepers came on an Alabama Rig with a 6.51lb kicker Largemouth. Mitch Selsor took 2nd out of the back of Anderson’s boat with 2 fish weighing 5.33lbs, with both coming on the Alabama Rig. Taking 3rd was Jim Richardson with 2 fish weighing 4.91lbs. A total of 11 bass were caught weighing 35.84lbs for a 3.26lb avg.
Selsor gets his 1st win of the year on Bull Shoals (Jan. 7, 2012)
Chris Selsor culled more than 2 limits of bass on the way to winning his first tournament of the year with 9.14lbs. He reported catching the majority of his fish on an Alabama Rig. Taking 2nd with 3 fish and 5.82lbs was Gaylen Davis. Jim Richardson had 4.93lbs to take third. A total of 14 fish weighing 28.07lbs were caught by the 11 fisherman.
Reaka gets his first win of the year (Dec. 10, 2011)
Timmy Reaka brought a 4 bass limit to the scale weighing 9.64lbs to take first place on Stockton. Taking 2nd with a limit weighing 7.13lbs was Steve Anderson. Chris Selsor took 3rd with 4.63lbs. Most fishermen reported catching their fish on jerk baits or jigs in depths from 10 – 50 ft, with water temps of 42 – 45 degrees.
Wilson edges Reaka for 1st (Nov. 5, 2011)
Kirby Wilson caught a 4 fish limit, with a 4.46lb kicker, to take first place with 11.17lbs on Pomme. Coming in 2nd with 10.38lbs with a limit was Timmy Reaka. Gaylen Davis had a limit weighing 8.84lbs for third and Sid Stephens took fourth with 8.61lbs. A total of 7 limits were caught and a total of 33 fish weighing 72.44lbs, an average of 2.20lbs per fish. Most anglers reported catching their fish on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and shakyheads.
Richardson wins Second Tournament of the Year (Oct. 29, 2011)
Experiencing the same tough conditions that the anglers in the B.A.S.S. Central Open experienced the weekend before, keeper fish were few and far between for the Lost Creek Anglers. Jim Richardson caught 2 bass weighing 5.19lbs to take 1st place. Gaylen Davis, fishing out of the same boat with Jim, took second with 2 bass at 4.09lbs. Chris Selsor had 4.07lbs for 3rd and Steve Anderson took fourth with 3.49lbs. A total of 8 fish totaling 16.84lbs were caught.
Wilson wins Last Tournament of 2011 / First Tournament of 2012, overtakes Anderson for Angler of the Year
Due to a change in the Club By-Laws, the last tournament of the season for 2011 was also the first tournament of the year for 2012. Kirby Wilson caught 2 fish, with a big fish of 5.65lbs and a total weight of 7.84lbs on Truman Lake to place first and overtake Steve Anderson for Angler of the Year. Taking 2nd place on Truman with 4.92lbs was Jay McKnight. Third place went to Timmy Reaka with 3.68lbs. End of the Year standings can be found on the Standings page.
McKnight gets first win of season / State Team set (8/6/11)
On a hot day on Truman, Jay Mcknight weighed in 6.86lbs to take first place and had the big fish at 4.9lbs. Jay moved up from 11th to 7th place to qualify for Lost Creeks 2011 State Team. Kirby Wilson took 2nd with 4.03lbs and qualified in 2nd place. The rest of the weights were: 3rd – Timmy Reaka 3.81lbs, 4th – Sid Stephens, 5th – Fred Bailey 3.27lbs

Wilson wins second in a row (7/16/11)
On a clear, warm and humid night, Kirby Wilson caught a 4 fish limit weighing 9lbs to take 1st place on Table Rock . He reported catching most of his limit on spinnerbaits with his big fish weighing 2.96lbs. Taking 2nd with a limit of 7.24lbs was Gaylen Davis. He reported catching most of his fish on a black & blue jig. Mitch Selsor had 5.84lbs for 3rd. A total of 16 keepers weighing 31.43lbs were caught.
Wilson takes 1st on Pomme (6/11/11)
On a night cut short by more than 2 hours by a storm, Kirby Wilson weighed in a 4 fish limit weighing 6.40lbs to take first place. Second place went to Gaylen Davis with a limit weighing 5.69lbs. JD Dendy took third with 4.16lbs. A total of 2o fish weighing 28.39lbs were weighed in.
Davis Wins his First Tournament of the Year (5/7/11)
Gaylen Davis was the only angler to bring a 4 fish limit to the scales, taking 1st with 6.04lbs. Jim Richardson, Davis’ partner for the day, took 2nd with 3 fish @ 5.37lbs. They reported catching all their keepers on the Big Sac arm on Shakey Head rigs. Fred Bailey took 3rd w/ 2.16lbs, 4th to Tim Reaka w/ 2.06lbs and 5th to JD Dendy @ 1.86lbs.
Anderson Wins Again! (4/16/11)
Steve Anderson was the only angler to bring a 4 fish limit to the scale, taking first place with 7.32lbs on Stockton on a windblown day. He caught a total of 7 keepers with the majority of his catch being caught on a jig. Taking 2nd with 2 fish was Shane McKeown with 4.68lbs. JD Dendy took 3rd with the big fish of the tournament, a 4.07lb Largemouth caught on a Wiggle Wart. All anglers reported catching fish, but keeper size bass were hard to come by, as 12 anglers caught a total of 20 keepers 39.46lbs.
JD Dendy wins delayed Stockton tournament (3/19/11)
Weighing in only two keepers, but with a kicker of 5.74lbs, JD took first place with a total weight of 8.47lbs. Taking second with three fish was Steve Anderson for a total weight of 5.83lbs. A lot of short fish were caught, most on jerkbaits or crankbaits, but no other angler weighed in a keeper.
Anderson wins the 4th tournament of year (3/5/11)
On a cold, blustery day, Steve Anderson caught 3 fish weighing 11.6lbs to win Lost Creeks fourth tournament of the year. Bites were slow as only 3 angles brought keepers to the scale. Andersons big fish went 6.41lbs. Second place with 2.30lbs was Mitch Selsor fishing out of the back of Anderson’s boat. Kirby Wilson was 3rd with 1 fish at 1.97lbs.
